Is Likeness Rx legit?
A real business with a real prescription requirement. The question worth asking is what it dispenses and what it bills — $199 a month.
Updated 2026-10-04
Legitimacy here has a specific regulatory meaning, and it is not the same as the medication being approved. Likeness Rx can be entirely lawful while dispensing a preparation the FDA has never reviewed.
"Legit" tends to mean two different things when people search it. One is "will I be scammed" — and on that, Likeness Rx behaves like a legitimate business. The other is "is what I am being sold what I think it is", and that is the question worth more of your time.
What "legit" means in this category
Three separate things get conflated. Whether the company is lawfully prescribing; whether the pharmacy is licensed; and whether the drug product is FDA-approved. A compounded GLP-1 can satisfy the first two and never the third — that is the normal state of affairs here, not a scandal, but it is worth stating precisely rather than answering yes or no.
What we verified
- The lowest monthly equivalents accompany 12-month subscriptions: $948 for semaglutide or $1,548 for tirzepatide. One-month plans are $139 and $199. The page says the selected term renews automatically; check the amount due and cancellation date.
- These are provider-published terms checked October 4, 2026. Prescription approval is conditional. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved; we have not tested the treatment, pharmacy fulfillment or patient outcomes.
All checked 2026-10-04 from published sources.
The five-point check
- Dispenses FDA-approved medication. No — this is a compounded preparation, which the FDA has not reviewed for safety, effectiveness or manufacturing quality. That is true of most low-cost programmes and is not by itself a mark against them, but you should know it.
- Names its compounding pharmacy. Yes, publicly — which puts Likeness Rx in a small minority of the programmes we track.
Important. What "compounded" means here. A compounding pharmacy prepares the medication against an individual prescription. It is legal and long-established, but the preparation itself is not FDA-approved. Since the shortages resolved the rules have narrowed considerably — see is compounded still legal.
