Is Mochi Health legit?

A real business with a real prescription requirement. The question worth asking is what it dispenses and what it bills — $278 a month.

Disclosure: one company on this page — Coreage Rx — pays us a commission when a reader signs up through our link. It does not buy a better score, a higher ranking, or the removal of any criticism. The scoring rubric and the full disclosure are both published.

Short answer: Mochi Health is a real, operating telehealth business that requires a prescription and a clinician review, and there is nothing in what we checked to suggest otherwise. The longer answer is about what exactly it dispenses and what it charges.

"Legit" tends to mean two different things when people search it. One is "will I be scammed" — and on that, Mochi Health behaves like a legitimate business. The other is "is what I am being sold what I think it is", and that is the question worth more of your time.

What we verified

  • Membership $79/month, or about $66/month on longer prepaid terms.
  • Prepaid terms listed at $199 for three months, $399 for six and $799 for twelve.
  • Compounded semaglutide around $99 and tirzepatide around $199 on published dose ranges.
  • Some members report $69/month provider access with $175 per 28 days of compounded semaglutide.
  • Holds roughly a 4 to 4.5 star Trustpilot average across approximately 18,000 public reviews.
  • Lab work, where recommended, is not included in the membership.

The five-point check

  • Requires a prescription and a clinician review. Yes — Mochi Health routes intake through a licensed clinician before anything ships. Any seller that does not is the single clearest warning sign in this market.
  • Dispenses FDA-approved medication. No — this is a compounded preparation, which the FDA has not reviewed for safety, effectiveness or manufacturing quality. That is true of most low-cost programmes and is not by itself a mark against them, but you should know it.
  • Names its compounding pharmacy. Not publicly. Ask before you order, and ask whether it is a 503A pharmacy or a registered 503B outsourcing facility.
  • Publishes its ongoing price. Partly. The advertised figure is $199 and the billed figure is $278 — Labs are billed separately. Ask what the clinic expects to order before you sign up.
  • States what happens on cancellation. Less clearly than we would like. Check the terms before prepaying a multi-month plan.

Important. What "compounded" means here. A compounding pharmacy prepares the medication against an individual prescription. It is legal and long-established, but the preparation itself is not FDA-approved. Since the shortages resolved the rules have narrowed considerably — see is compounded still legal.

What it costs, plainly

Where it falls short

  • Membership is charged on top of medication.
  • Lab costs are not included when labs are recommended.
  • Reported pricing varies between cohorts more than published figures suggest.

Red flags we did not find

  • No prescription requirement — not the case here.
  • Medication sold as "research chemicals" or "not for human consumption" — not the case here.
  • Prices far below every other seller, which usually signals an unlicensed source.
  • No way to contact a clinician after purchase.
  • No named clinical leadership anywhere on the site.

Our verdict

Mochi Health is legitimate in the sense most people mean. Whether it is *right* for you is a separate question, and it comes down to the $278 a month and membership is charged on top of medication. Our full assessment is in the Mochi Health tirzepatide review.
