Disclosure: one company on this page — Coreage Rx — pays us a commission when a reader signs up through our link. It does not buy a better score, a higher ranking, or the removal of any criticism. The scoring rubric and the full disclosure are both published.
Semaglutide comes in more forms at Hims & Hers than anywhere else on this site — weekly injection, oral kits, and an oral line priced from around $49 a month.
The cheap advertised figures are all oral. The weekly injection sits nearer $199 before the $39 membership, so around $238 a month. Oral semaglutide is a legitimate medication in its own right; it is not a cheaper version of the injection.
The prescription, at a glance
What is actually supplied
Oral semaglutide is absorbed very differently from an injection — it has strict instructions about taking it on an empty stomach with a small sip of water and waiting before eating or taking anything else. If nobody has explained that to you, the product will underperform. It is a real consideration that price tables never capture.
How the prescription works
Well-run intake, in-app dose management, reliable refills. Switching formulation is easier here than anywhere else.
Large publicly traded telehealth platform. Sells oral kits, compounded injections and branded Zepbound side by side, with a membership required across the board.
Reading the price
About $2,256 to $2,856 a year for the injection depending on tier. Oral routes are cheaper and are a different treatment.
The $79 entry point is for oral kits, not the weekly injection. Injection pricing lands nearer $199 before membership.
What we verified
- Weight-loss membership advertised at $39 for the first month.
- Compounded GLP-1 injections priced from $199/month.
- Oral medication kits priced from $79/month.
- Branded Zepbound offered at $1,899/month.
- Company has announced oral semaglutide pricing starting around $49/month, with the 1.5 mg dose around $149/month.
Checked 2026-09-18. Pricing here changes frequently; treat anything older than a month as a starting point rather than a quote.
Strengths
- One account covers oral, compounded injectable and branded options.
- Large enough to keep supply steady when smaller sellers run dry.
- Branded Zepbound is available without leaving the platform.
Drawbacks
- The $39 membership is charged on top of every medication price.
- The cheapest advertised numbers refer to oral kits, which are not equivalent to weekly injections.
- Renewal pricing is materially higher than the introductory rate.
Important. The advertised entry prices and the membership are separate charges. Add $39/month to whatever medication figure you were quoted.

Our verdict
A good place to be if you have not settled on a formulation. Do not treat the oral price as the injection price — the adverts encourage exactly that mistake.
